Time sure does fly! I've been busy making messes. I completed two sets of swap cards and three sets of ATCs to swap. I will take pictures of the ATCs (the cards went already before I remembered about taking a picture!).
I wanted the SU! set Sassy Stems for awhile. I have seen some gorgeous cards made out of it, and I wanted it. I quickly realized, though, that the images don't match with my card style. I want to also start using up some of the incredible amounts of DP that I have accumulated but rarely remember to use. This card combines DP from TAC (Rustic Chic), Sassy Stems image from SU!, and a chipboard button I covered with Tempting Turqoise (direct to paper, still count with chipboard?) and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored the image with Tombow Markers, another thing I rarely do. I really tried to push myself on this card. I'm not sure I like it, but that's okay. I don't have to, right?
It's been a crazy few days around here since I signed up for several swaps that are all coming due soon. I made a lot of cards this past week, and I had a blast doing it! I cleaned my table last Sunday, and tonight, it is again covered with stamping stuff, paints, embellishments, and fabrics. I'm also playing with Photoshop and creating digital ATCs that are good enough to trade. I used to do web design, but it's been seven years, which is a long time to go without using a software package. But I'm finding it's much like riding a bike - it's just coming back to me. And it's so much fun!

That button came out looking rather nifty! Will have to try clear ep on chipboard bits...
I do like the Sassy Stems set but haven't been moved enough to get it because I really don't know how much I'd use it and I'm trying to be good!
hugs, Tracy
