Board Book

The theme of the board book I've been working on is Anatomy of an Artist. The woman to whom this book belongs left it wide open - however we translated that theme. I had a lot of fun. Here is my two page spread:

I chose a Picasso theme because his art always makes me think. His images are so haunting to me, and I just love looking at his work. It was so difficult for me to actually use these images in something I had to then give away. I love the image of the woman. The one quote says "There are two kind of women - goddesses and doormats." We need to remember to be goddesses. Don't be a doormat. I'm thinking it probably isn't that much fun. Anyway, I wanted to share this with you, and since it is technically Saturday, I thought I'd do it now in case I didn't have a chance to in the morning.

Thanks for looking!

WOW. This is gorgeous. I LOVE Picasso. He mastered realism so early and then moved on to more powerful styles. Thanks for sharing this, mel
