I really like the cling and scrunch technique, Technique Junkies newsletter). This card is much like the card I posted a few days ago. It has the yellows and greens, done with a butterfly motif this time. I used Garden Green and True Thyme paper from SU! The flower image is SU!, the butterfly is TAC. The ribbon is from Michaels, and the pin is from SU!'s Paper Pretties kit. I added the butterfly and flower beads to the hat pin and topped it with a silk flower painted with Twinkling H20s. The flower image was stamped with Burnt Umber Palette Hybrid ink and then colored over with Sharpies. The butterfly was colored with SU! ink and blender pens. I think that's about the gist of the card. I really love this kind of card, the butterflies are awesome - those beads. They're gorgeous, from Fire Mountain Gems.
I'm working on some pumpkins done with pastels on black paper. I'm also stamping a lot of images to give in a care package for a friend. Her husband was in a nasty motorcycle accident yesterday and his road to recovery is going to be pretty long. Another woman in our office felt that it would be nice to give her a care package of images to color, to keep her occupied during the many hours she'll have to sit. It was a bad accident. He's lucky to be alive.
Today is my baby's fourth birthday. WOW! I can't believe it. He's such a big boy.
