Busy weekend, lots of projects started

It's been a heck of a weekend. I'm in the middle of four projects now, none of which are close enough to finished to show. One of my ATC sets, for an ATC swap, is done. Would it be bad form to post the one that's done here before the swap? I don't think anyone involved in the swap would see them here. I don't post much on that list, so no one knows me and I'm positive no one comes here. Anyway, I might post the first one I finished just because I really like it. My husband didn't like it at all. Well, he liked the imagery, but not the sentiment. I thought the sentiment matched the imagery perfectly.

I'm also working on painting a wooden block (one of my SU! stamp blocks since I'm unmounted). I am going to paint a crysanthemum on it. If it turns out okay, I'll post it when I'm finished with it, but it probably won't be until the coming weekend. I leave the paint dry really well between coats so I don't mess it up. I'm excited about it!! It should be fun and educational, even if I screw it up royally - which I just might.

My son is a hoot. I haven't introduced you to my youngest. He's 3 and a half. That's him in my pics. He was upset today, I have no clue why. He ran past me crying and I asked what's wrong. He yells out, still running, "I don't want to talk about it!" And he went to our bedroom to cry a bit before composing himself. I almost wet my pants. Talk about drama! Geesh. I don't know where he gets these things. I once told him to brush his teeth or I would brush them for him, and he looked at me and said, cool as can be, "You and what army?" Oh, yeah, this kid is going to be a world of fun. He is my helper in the mess department. If I'm painting or stamping, he is right beside me. He's a sweetheart, but too smart for his own good, and smart-mouthed from having two teenaged brothers to hang out with.

It's time for me to go try to transfer my image to wood. I'll take a picture of the ATC to put up, hopefully later tonight.

I love the pic of your little doodlebug! He's too cute for words! Don't they come out with the most hilarious things?! I look after my neighbours three children on Thursdays and Fridays, little miss 3.5 loves to storm off to her room and slam the door! tee hee! My son never did the whole tantrum thing, so I count myself so lucky! Miss 3.5 has such a wonderful vivid imagination. She likes to pretend she is "Peter-girl" and I am "Wendy" and she carries "Tinkerbell" around in her hand!! Too cute!
Look at me waffling on here! Oops!
hugs, Tracy
