My first altered composition book. Don't mind the ribbon that I tied around it. I never could tie a bow. I used paper from The Angel Company (Genevieve - wow, that's tough to spell). The chipboard flower bits do match the paper, even though this picture makes the one look like it's red. Really, it's a bright pink.
The ribbon around the book is a velvet ribbon. I think that ribbon just feels and looks so comforting. It's warm and inviting and fuzzy. I plan to use this notebook to keep track of RAKs I send and receive, and swaps I join. Hopefully I won't be caught off guard two days before I need to mail something to the hostess. Aw, who am I kidding? I work best under time constraints!
Little chicken is still doing well. It hops around behind its mama in the yard, a little grey fuzzball. It's adorable and Little Red Hen is doing a great job being a mother. We haven't had any new hatchlings. I'm still watching and waiting.
