One of the SCS Challenges

I don't normally do the SCS challenges, but I saw yesterday's Dare To Get Dirty challenge from StamperSharon to do a card in toile. I really hate toile. I remember my mom having china that was done in blue, looking like toile. I never liked that china, never liked that look. So what better challenge for myself? I also chose a stamp set I bought awhile ago and really haven't used in a long time, basically because I don't know what to do with it. I'm not sure I like the outcome, but it's not too bad, I guess. I still don't like toile.

I do like Cranberry Crisp a lot more, though. I bought a few packs of paper, thinking I'd make some nice Christmas cards. I really like the color. It's a very nice red. The ribbon is from May Arts. The background is from Cornish Heritage Farms.

I might do another challenge tomorrow. I will have to pick another real challenge like this one. It felt good to stretch (even if the final product doesn't show it).
