Collage complete!

Well, here it is! My first large collage piece and I'm very happy with it. It's called "Sisters". My sister lives in Idaho and I only see her every few years. I miss her a lot. We fought like crazy when we were kids but grew into great friends. Billie, if you read my blog and would like this, I'd be honored to give it to you as a gift (Mom, you can send her the link)!! It's been made in your honor because Mom told me how much you've been missing me. I miss you a lot too. Remember that song "Don't Turn Around" by Ace of Base. It was playing when we said goodbye when you left to move back to California for the final time. I couldn't listen to that song for months without crying and crying. Especially the part where they sing "I wish I could scream out loud that I love you. I wish I could say to you "Don't go!". I wanted so much to keep you here. I knew you'd be happier not here, but you know how selfish I am. :o)

Anyway, I can put some details on the blog tomorrow or the next day. It's late. I have to work tomorrow, and I am TIRED.

Good heavenly grief girl...This collage is too beautiful and so very vintage! I almost cried when I read your words to your sister...I have a sister that I love that dearly also, tho, we live right down the street from each other and this made me so thankful! Your sister should be honored by such a beautiful creation....and I am sure she will be! Thanks so much for sharing not only the collage, but also your story!

Missy, I was brought to tears! I love you and miss you so much. I feel like a piece of me is missing without you. I know, it's weird. The same sister who jammed your underwear in your mouth when we were teenagers-yes, the same one who fought with you endlessly. Better late than never-I love you and would be honored to have the collage. I would put in on my mantle and tell everyone who sees it the awesome story of Michelle Weaver. I am so proud of you-we have come a long way from where we were when we were growing up-thanks to our unbelievably strong, loving mother I'm sure. And thanks to all of the wonderful things she instilled in us.

I love you-oh, and you can come visit too if you'd like. They do fly planes out to Boise, Idaho now. New thing, very chic! :)

Your collage is AWESOME!!!! I can't believe it's your first!!!! I apologize for not responding to your art on SSReflections . . . I'm on digest because I am SO over-extended on the number of groups I belong to, so I am not able to view your lovely works of art!!!! Have fun!!!!!!!!
