Hippy Chick

I made this card with my daughter in mind. I knew she'd like it. It is a TAC image I got in a grab bag. I colored her with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. The DP is also TAC, Frutti Fusion. The fibers are from a funky yarn that has the chenille type thread and then a feathered thread. I used just the chenille. The base paper is SU! Cameo Coral. She's definitely a hippy chick, with highlights even! The sentiment is on chipboard with Cameo Coral sponged on it.

I'm still trying to finish up some ATCs for an online class I've been taking, but neglecting. I am almost caught up, and hope to be on the right lesson by tonight. I have a throw to crochet that I want to send to Tracy (http://enchantasy.blogspot.com). I would like to finish that in a week or two, and to do that and keep up with all the other things I have committed to, I have to start moving!! I still haven't seen the new Harry Potter movie, and I have to wait for tomorrow to find out if I will buy the last book. I'm not thrilled at the prospect of Harry dying, and decided if he dies in this book, I'm not buying it, not reading it. So I have a friend who is going to "spoil" it for me. I have to wait for tomorrow at work to find out.

I am so excited about the throw :) I am about a third of the way through your wrap ~ I have been crocheting like an addict! :) I hope you will like it!
I have to agree with you about the Harry book... have been in two minds as to whether to buy it or not ~ don't want to read it if Harry dies in it :(
Hugs, Tracy
